Tile Floors That Look Clean Again — Without Replacing Them
Tile floors are hard-wearing, but grout lines are porous and can trap dirt over time. Mopping often cleans the surface but leaves grime in the grout and textured tiles.
That’s where professional deep cleaning makes a visible difference.
What We Clean
- Porcelain and ceramic tile floors
- Natural stone tiles (method dependent)
- Grout lines and textured tile surfaces
- Kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and commercial areas
Our Tile & Grout Cleaning Process
- Inspection – we assess tile type, grout condition and any previous sealers.
- Pre-treatment – targeted solutions for heavy build-up and traffic lanes.
- Deep clean – lifts embedded dirt from tiles and grout lines.
- Rinse & neutralise – removes residues for a clean finish.
- Optional sealing – where appropriate, we can seal grout (and some tiles) to help protect against future staining.
Optional Sealing (When It Makes Sense)
Sealing isn’t always required, but in many cases it helps reduce absorption in grout lines and makes routine cleaning easier. We’ll recommend it only if it’s suitable for your tile and grout.
We’re based in Belmont, County Durham and cover the North East including Durham, Chester-le-Street, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, South Tyneside, Washington, Seaham, Peterlee, Hartlepool and Darlington.

Tile & Grout Cleaning – FAQs
How should I prepare for tile and grout cleaning?
Preparation is simple. Please clear loose items from the floor and, if possible, empty the rooms being cleaned. We can move lightweight furniture where safe, and we’ll discuss any heavier items in advance.
How long does tile and grout cleaning take?
Time depends on the size of the area, tile texture and the level of build-up in the grout. Many jobs can be completed within a day. We’ll give you a realistic estimate after assessment.
Is sealing included?
Sealing is optional. If your grout or tile would benefit from sealing, we’ll explain the options and you can decide. We only recommend sealing where it’s suitable for the floor type and condition.
Is this suitable for rented properties or short turnarounds?
Yes. Tile and grout deep cleaning is ideal for rented properties because it improves appearance quickly. Optional sealing can also help make ongoing cleaning easier.
Will grout lines look like new again?
Deep cleaning can make a big difference, but grout staining varies. Some discolouration may be permanent (for example, long-term dye staining or previous damage). We’ll set expectations before we begin.
