Leather Cleaning That Protects Your Investment
Leather needs a different approach to fabric. Using the wrong products (or too much moisture) can cause dryness, dullness or uneven results. That’s why we use a specialist, hand-cleaning process designed for leather upholstery.
We carefully remove built-up body oils, everyday grime and surface marks, then apply a professional conditioner to help keep leather soft, supple and comfortable. If you’d like extra peace of mind, we can also apply a protective finish to help reduce future staining.
What We Clean
- Leather sofas and corner suites
- Leather armchairs and recliners
- Leather dining chairs
- Office and commercial leather seating
What to Expect
Leather cleaning can significantly improve appearance and hygiene, but results depend on the type and condition of the leather. Some issues (such as deep scratches, cracks, heavy wear, colour loss or UV fading) are not “cleanable” — we’ll always be honest about what’s achievable before we begin.
We’re based in Belmont, County Durham and cover the North East including Durham, Chester-le-Street, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, South Tyneside, Washington, Seaham, Peterlee, Hartlepool and Darlington.

Leather Upholstery Cleaning – FAQs
How long does leather upholstery cleaning take?
Time depends on the number and size of items and the level of build-up. As a guide, most jobs take 1–3 hours. We’ll give a realistic estimate once we know what you’d like cleaned.
How should I prepare for leather upholstery cleaning?
Preparation is simple. Please remove small personal items from the furniture and clear access around the area if possible. We’ll take care of the cleaning and can move lightweight items where safe.
Is this suitable for rented properties and short turnaround situations?
Yes. Leather cleaning is ideal for rented properties because it refreshes appearance and hygiene with minimal downtime. We can focus on high-contact areas such as arms, headrests and seating.
Do you condition and protect the leather?
Yes. Our service includes deep cleaning and conditioning to help keep leather supple. We can also apply a protective finish to help guard against future staining, depending on the leather type.
Can you remove scratches or fix cracked leather?
Cleaning can improve overall appearance, but scratches, cracking, heavy wear or colour loss are not usually resolved through cleaning alone. We’ll advise honestly after assessment.
